The sad things is for 85%+ of businesses that would certainly not be the case, the knowledge, the systems, the plans, the outcomes, the goals are all done, but they are usually stored in the business owners head and not shared with the staff.

However none of that matters if you do not have an image that people want to be a part of.

Your image is the life and soul of your business, it is what people associate with and it is what people feel they are a part of. Without a positive business image your business is doomed. So how much time do you spend in making sure what is said, done and projected helps build your business image?

November and December are probably two of the most important months for small business owners all over the world. If you're in retail or tourism then you're gearing up for a busy time of year. For most other businesses it's a time to plant the seeds and get ready to harvest them come mid January and February. Those that fail to plant the seeds have very little to harvest in the new year, while those that spend the time now find plenty to harvest.

It's very similar to the 'ant' the ant spends all spring, summer and autumn collecting food and getting ready for the winter. The ant never goes hungry because he was so well prepared during the other times of the year. This is exactly what you need to be right now.

Living Life To The Fullest

As we head towards summer time here in Australia, we have so many more opportunities to really get out and enjoy life. The daylight hours are plenty the weather is lovely and really there is no excuse not to enjoy yourself.

Right..Wrong

You see it's not just the things we do that makes us happy, life fulfilment comes from a place within, a place that has all of our values, beliefs, habits and emotions stirring around inside us. A person can be really out their enjoying daily activities and still be quite unhappy and unfulfilled.

Life fulfilment starts from within and spreads outwards, it starts with understanding who you are and what you stand for. It also starts with knowing what you want. Most people in life just sail through day in and day out not really knowing what they want or how to get it. Before they know it they're mid 40's with not much to show for it. Anyone can live a life full of fulfilment and happiness if they choose to do so.
